Born in Rimini, she graduated in Literature from the University of Urbino. Literature has remained a constant interest, reading and writing a never-ending quest.
Over time, she has tried to combine writing and painting, almost completely abandoning figuration. Slowly, the focus shifted towards concrete objects and the work itself reversed the march of creation. As time went by, the image began to determine itself starting from the materials at hand, the sensations that move and the way of treating and processing them.
He paints mainly using paper, oil or acrylic and wax on wooden boards. He almost always uses cloth rags to work the short range of colours: white, ivory, ochre, black.
When the work is finished, he spreads a layer of slowly melting wax, poured over the painting and then pulled off with spatulas layer after layer from cold, solid. The wax immediately transforms the stamp of colours, marks and paper, making them brighter and at the same time more distant, depending on the layers removed or left behind. Something appears in its disappearance, as does, after all, the substance and paradoxical nature of any attempt at communication.
